Prepare a safety report for a specific workplace.

The workplace may be your own business, your place of employment or another business that you can access. Alternately, you may choose to develop a report based on one of the fictional workplaces contained in the Example businesses.

Your report should include sections that cover the following aspects of workplace safety.

  • The legal and workplace requirements for occupational health and safety.
  • Possible safety hazards identified in the workplace.
  • Procedures that could be applied to minimise risks and to control hazards.
  • A training plan to ensure that employees are aware of health and safety hazards and control measures.
  • An assessment plan to ensure that employees are following health and safety procedures.
