'Beside the Point' (BTP) have been invited to play at a large birthday party which will include some local music industry identities.
The show is on a Friday night (in two weeks' time) and as you usually help the guys out, it is up to you to set-up the PA system and mix the sound for the night. You're wrapped at the opportunity to operate a full PA system in front of a large crowd.
Jodie is organising the party and has asked Dave (the manager of The Sound Lounge) to arrange for the local PA contractor (Nick) to supply the PA system. It will be delivered to The Sound Lounge on the morning of the party. It will be your job to connect the PA system when you get to the venue early afternoon, on the day of the party. What a job! You've got to get it right otherwise technical problems could cripple the gig and ruin your reputation in the process.
